Congratulations to our MA Alumni on their recent publications!

Nick Roberts (MAGIC ’14) has published his MAGIC final paper as a book with New Academia Publishing. Political Islam and the Invention of Tradition, with a foreword by Georgetown Professor Emeritus John Voll, traces the historical development of political Islam within the context of the failure of western-style secular governments in the Middle East.

Holly Robertson Huffnagle (MAGIC ’13), published a version of her final MA paper, “’Peaceful Coexistence?’ Jewish and Muslim Neighbors on the Eve of the Holocaust,” in the Jan. 2015 issue of Eastern European Jewish Affairs. Huffnagle works at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and at the U.S. Department of State.
