Congratulations to Barry McCarron for winning the World History Association’s third annual WHA Dissertation Prize!  Dr. McCarron’s dissertation, “The Global Irish and Chinese: Migration, Exclusion, and Foreign Relations Among Empires, 1784-1904,” was completed in 2016 under the direction of Dr. Carol Benedict.
