Interfolio Dossier Service
The History Department is partnering with Interfolio, Inc. the premier web-based credential file management service, based in Washington, D.C., to provide dossier services for all History Ph.D. students and alumni applying to teaching and postdoctoral positions. All doctoral students currently on the job market and who need letters of recommendation, transcripts, or teaching evaluations sent to prospective employers are required to use this service.
The Department has partnered with Interfolio to provide doctoral students and alumni with an easier way to request letters of recommendation and other credentials and to submit them to prospective employers either electronically or by mail. Interfolio allows you manage your job application process from a central location. The process is as simple as telling Interfolio where you want to apply and when, and they will do the rest.
