External Grants and Fellowships
There are several external sources of funding for graduate student research and study. There is a list of such institutions and foundations which appears on the GSAS website.
The department has also compiled a list specific to graduate students in history. This is by no means an exhaustive list; please consult your mentor, your advisory committee, and websites of professional associations as you conduct your search. Be sure to check the grantor's website for current deadlines and information on restrictions, obligations, eligibility requirements.
