Comprehensive Exam Reading Lists
Following are samples of reading lists from students previously preparing for comprehensive exams in the doctoral program. The samples are organized by field of study, and within the field by major, minor or research lists. The reading list for an individual student is the result of consultation with the mentor and specifically oriented to the individual student's doctoral work. These samples however serve as a point of beginning in the development of a reading list.
