Congratulations to Dr. Henriette De Bruyn Kops, who has been named the 2006 recipient of Georgetown University's Harold N. Glassman Dissertation Award in the Humanities for her dissertation titled "Liquid Silver: The Wine and Brandy Trade between Nantes and Rotterdam in the First Half of the Seventeenth Century" (Georgetown University, Department of History, 2005). Henriette is currently revising her dissertation for publication, and has been offered a contract by Brill Academic Publishers!
